Character Background= Hermione was born to two Muggle dentists. They were shocked, but happy, when she received her letter from Hogwarts. Hermione had experienced many strange phenomenons before she found out she was a witch. One time stands out more than the others - she had been six years old and was playing in the backyard. Her mother was reading a book and not paying a whole lot of attention. Suddenly a snake appeared from behind a bush and raised its head to bite her. Hermione screamed and the next moment the snake was flying across the grounds and disappeared in the distance.

Personality traits= very logical, upright and good. she tries to be the best at everything at school, projecting a false confidence that can irritate people. a lot of insecurity and a great fear of failure.
