Fred searched through the items at Zonko's, trying to find the Belching Powder. His brother was close by, viewing a box of Stink Pellets. "George, I think our supply of that is doing well-"

"-but it wouldn't hurt to get a few more." George muttered, finishing his brother's sentence.

"I like the way you think." Fred said, finally locating the Belching Powder and removing it from the shelf. "What say we go to the Three Broomsticks?" Fred asked. He was rummaging through his pockets for a few Sickles as he walked toward the counter.

"Good idea. I need a Butterbeer." George said. Fred was still rummaging through his pockets and muttering something about it was just there. George sighed and took the parcel and laid it on the counter, along with a pack of Stink Pellets. He paid the man, gathered the items, and began walking toward the door. He wasn't in a bad mood, just rather thirsty.

"Thanks," Fred said as they walked out the door. "I had it in my pocket somewhere...Aha!" Fred said as he pulled some silver Sickles and many bronze Knuts from his pocket. "Here, to pay you back, drinks are on me! You know, I believe that's the first time we have come out of Zonko's without a supply of Dungbombs." Fred said.

You're right about that! Oh well, there's always room for first! Come on, Percy's heading this way. Let's get to the Three Broomsticks." George said as he and Fred quickened their pace. Percy wasn't too happy with them since they changed his Head Boy badge to Read 'Big Head Boy'.

Seeing Fred and George in the distance, Ginny quickened her pace down the cobblestone walk. They were heading the other way. Quickly scheming up an idea in her head she approached the two. Carefully and quietly, she stuck her head between the two, snaking her arms around their waists. "Hello!" she piped up just as she made contact with their school robes.

George jumped, sending the Zonko's bag flying. Ginny had surprised him. "Blimey, Ginny! I felt like I was going to have a heart attack! You know what this means now." Geroge smiled.

Ginny stopped. Looking up at her brother, her eyes widened. She looked to Fred for help, but he looked like he was going to help George instead. "Should I run this time?" she said, slowly backing up. Her brothers were very unpredictable, especially when around each other, which was almost all the time.

Timidly, Ginny walked forward towards the twins. "Your not going to play tricks, are you?" she asked, just to be on the safe side. Not really waiting for a reply, she ran ahead, and turned around. "Race ya?" she asked and then continued to jog to their destination, smiling to herself.

George smiled and thrusted the bag into his brother's hand. He ran after his younger sister, wondering why she suddenly wanted to be with them while she had friends of her own. 'Silly second years' he thought. He stopped abruptly as the words triggered something in his head. Ginny was a second year. She shouldn't even be in Hogsmeade. George smiled to himself as he thought of his sister following in his and Fred's footsteps. George waited for Fred to catch up before he continued on. "Come on Fred! We don't have all day!"

George seemed to have realized the same thing Fred did. Ginny was too young to be in Hogsmeade. But Fred was happy at his sisters rebelious behavior. He caught up with George after he had stopped, and walked toward the Three Broomsticks, where Ginny was already waiting.

"We're a bad influence on her, Fred." George whispered to his brother. They both laughed and finally caught up with Ginny.

Fred laughed. He was now rethinking about pranking Ginny. "Hey George, maybe we should just leave her alone for once, or at least use one of those Muggle pranks we bought last summer." Fred suggested. Hopefully George wouldn'tt hink that he had gone soft.

Ginny was suspicious. Her brothers were talking to each other. So she ran back to them and stood with her hands on her hips. She glared for a minute, then having a sudden change in attitude, she stood between the two and linked arms. She started to skip and she pulled them along, not wanting to give them any more chances to talk. Never knew what they might do.

George laughed. Had his brother and best friend gone soft on him? No, he just cared about Ginny. "Good idea. I'll get that 'whoopie cushion' or whatever it was called and sneak it somewhere. Hey, it's better than a Dungbomb!" George added, seeing the look on his brother's face. Mugle pranks were so primative. He finished talking by the time Ginny had come up and pulled them along behind her.

They finally arrived at the Three Broomsticks and took a table in the back corner. "What are we going to do here?" she asked. And simply out of habit, she started to look around for any of her friends.

"What else? Get a Butterbeer! Alright Fred, your treat. Go fetch them." George smiled. "Why are you looking for friends? They won't be here. They don't have older brothers that know the school inside and out."

Ginny smiled. "I know. Just habit. And you two really know that school well. You could get around blindfolded!"

Fred went and got the three Butterbeers, making it back just in time to hear Ginny say something about walking around blindfolded. "You're right about that Ginny." He said, handing out the drinks and taking a seat beside his brother. He thought for a minute. Maybe they could try that out later. He looked over at George and George looked back at him. He nodded once and they both looked back at Ginny, smiling.

Ginny stopped smiling. Her eyes widened. "What..." she said slowly. "I don't like that look." Ginny picked up the butterbeer and took a sip. "Why are you looking at me like that?" she half said, half squealed.

"That doesn't mean that you won't do anything at all!" Ginny sighed. "You two are a piece of work." Shaking her head, she drank more of her butterbeer. "I wonder what Har... I mean, Hermione is doing right now." she wondered out loud, hoping that her brothers hadn't caught that.
