"Actually, I was wondering if I could talk to you alone. This is hard enough as it is." he said looking at Milosh and his arm on Magdalene. He didn't want to have to say anything in front of him. Plus, he knew he could trust Magdalene, just not Milosh. 'Funny how their names start with that same letter. Hehe... Good gosh Draco, stay on track!'

"Oh," Magdalene sighed. She never did enjoy leaving Milosh. She could also tell that he didn't want her to leave. His arm wound it's way around her somehow. "If Milosh doesn't mind..." She said, looking up into his face.

Absentmindely, his arm found it's way around Magdalene's waist. He wasn't keen on letting her go. But if wanted to get on better terms with her now, he should let her go. "I'll be waiting for you when you get back." He sighed. He removed his arm from her and put his head in his hands. He stared into the fire.

Draco smiled. He followed Magdalene outside and leaned against the door, just to be sure that Milosh didn't come out. "Magdalene... This is so hard to say. Mainly because I've never done it. Usually i don't have to... Sorry, getting off of track. Did you hear me say anything when you came into the common room?" Magdalene shook her head no. Draco sighed. "That makes it even HARDER. Ok, well, i guess i will just come out and say it." He took a deep breath. "I like you. A lot. And not just in a crush sort of way, but like really REALLY like you. I know that Milosh probably does too, but i just had to tell you. You can never talk to me again if you want, but i really needed to tell someone. So... there you have it." Sighing again, Draco stood and opened the door, allowing her back into the common room.

Magdalene was surprised. She walked toward the door, but stopped. "Draco, I do still want to talk to you. This changes nothing." She said before walking through the door and back to Milosh. He smiled when he saw her. She sat back down beside him, waiting for Draco to sit back down in the chair.

Milosh looked up to see Magdalene walking toward him. He smiled as she sat down beside him. He wasn't going to force anything out of her. At least not yet. He knew she would tell him sooner or later. Much sooner than later. Especially after later tonight. Milosh smiled to himself.

Stunned, Draco walked numbly back to the coffee table and picked up his book he had left there earlier. Taking one last sad look at Magdalene and one last glare at Milosh, he headed upstairs. Defeated. There was nothing more that he could do. 'At least she will still be a friend. This isn't like me. I should be down there fighting.' He sighed and layed down on his four poster bed. Closing his eyes, he fell asleep to talk in the common room.

Magdalene was surprised that Draco had left like that. She was hoping he would have stayed. She sighed, her feelings slightly hurt, and looked up at Milosh. He looked down at her with an odd look in his eyes. She couldn't quite guess what it was.

Milosh looked down at Magdalene after Draco had left. Now was the time. When they locked eyes, he leaned forward. He kissed her softly and leaned back, looking away quickly, for his face was now a bright red. He felt stupid for just doing that.

Magdalene couldn't help but giggle. She forced Milosh to look back at her. "Thank you for that." She whispered before kissing him. She pushed him away gently and walked to the fireplace. Her face was now red and she didn't want him to see that.

Milosh was slightly speechless. He shook his head before standing and joining her by the fireplace. He took her hand and pulled her into his arms. "Allow me the honor of being your boyfriend." He whispered into her hair.

She smiled. "Of course, Milosh, of course." She whispered to his shoulder. She did like Milosh, alot. But in the back of her head, she felt terrible for doing something of this nature to Draco. He had just told her his feelings and she goes off and hurts him some more. 'Darn myself for being a Slytherin.' she thought. A tear silently rolled down her cheek. For once she hated herself.

Draco awoke from his "nap", not really being asleep. He quietly crept down the stairs and walked over to the table, thankful that neither of them turned around. Softly, he laid down in the most comfortable position he could find and picked up a book. It was a random book so he started in the middle. He could be patient. He read and read and read until, finally, then turned around. "Hello" he said. His voice was soft, not like it always sounds, but like a whole new person.

Magdalene jumped. Not because Draco had startle her, but because his voice had a small change in it. She knew that he hated her now, and at that thought, tears began falling down her cheeks. "Draco." She whispered before burrying her face in Milosh's shoulder.

Draco looked at her confused. "You don't need to cry. It was just a hello." He stood and put his hands into his school robes. "So let me guess. She said yes to you. Am I right?" he said, now speaking to Milosh. "You know, she told me about you during Christmas break. I thought that you two were just friends. But I guess I was wrong." His eyes locked with Milosh's in a death glare.

Milosh glared back at Malfoy. He held Magdalene even tighter as he replied. "Yes, she did tell me yes. And, unlike you, I can be everything she wants. I am capable of loving her more than anything or anyone upon this earth. And if you don't mind, you really don't have to be so rude to me." He said, kissing Magdalene on top of the head.

The anger inside him raged even higher now. Before he could think about what he was doing, it happened. Draco whipped out his wand and yelled, "Petrificus Totalus!!!" He held his wand steady. Walking over to the body on the floor. "Accio wand" he said, then knelt over the body. "Not so tough now, are you? You have no idea what pain I have been through, and anything you are doing to me now is just pushing me over the edge. You want to make it worse? Go ahead. But remember this. I will make you life a living hell!" He stood and looked straight at Magdalene. Pointing his wand at her, he backed her against a wall, holding his wand at her neck. "You want to help him?"

Magdalene was backed into the wall helplessly. She was pissed now. Her anger slurred her words. She couldn't get anything out. Whenever Draco left her alone, he was going to suffer. Suffer in every way. He'll wish that he was dead after she was done with him.

Tears started to roll down his eyes. 'What am I doing? I'm hurting someone that I lo... lo...lo...ve, yeah, love. . .' he shook his head. He dropped his wand and looked over at Milosh. "Im sorry..." he whispered. He held Milosh's wand out to Magdalene. "I'll... help tak...e him over to... the hospi...tal if you want... Im so sorry" he sank to the floor. He was becoming like his father. Hurting everyone because he didn't get his way. He looked back up at Magdalene with tear stung eyes, waiting for her to hurt him somehow. He knew she wanted to by the look on her face.

Magdalene glared at Draco as he sat on the ground. How could he stoop to the level of the men her father worked with? The Draco she thought she knew was showing as he cried on the floor. She exhaled angrily and removed her wand from her robes. "Ennervate." She muttered through locked teeth. As Milosh began moving again, Magdalene knealed on the floor beside him. When he shook his head and smiled up at her, she grabbed him by the shoulders and kissed him. She didn't want to physically hurt Draco, just emotionally. This was the only way she could think of doing it.

Draco stood. He grabbed the nearest quill and parchment and began to write.
Father,
I have made my decision on doing your bidding and will. I no longer wish to become a death eater. You don't have control over me. I realize the punishment that i will receive when i return home, but that doesn't matter anymore. I hope that you understand that this is for love. Yes, love. I can't keep hurting this girl.

Folding the letter with tear stains and all, he stood and left for the owlery. He had to send this as soon as possible. He wiped his eyes on the way so as to mask the fact that he had been crying.

Magdalene pulled away from Milosh to watch Draco. He was still crying as he wrote a letter to someone. She watched as he folded it up and walked out of the Common Room. She looked back to Milosh. He was glaring out the door.

Milosh was pissed. Draco went too far. "I'm going to freaking kill him." He muttered. "And not because he stunned me. I saw him threaten you with his wand. He's going to perish!"

Magdalene put a hand over his mouth. "The best way to do it is to play with his emotions. I have a few ways of doing it..." Magdalene smiled.

Draco got to the Owlery and got his owl. Tying the letter to its leg, he prepared to let it go. 'Should I really be doing this? His punishments are cruel enough as it is.' He sighed and held his owl tight. 'Yes. I have to!' He closed his eyes and threw her off to fly to his dreaded home. All he could do now was wait. He leaned against the window frame and watched her fly off. 'It must be great to be able to fly.' "To have absolutely no worries at all."
