Character Background= Eric was born and raised in Sutton Coldfield, England. His parents, who each came from long lines of witches and wizards, an occasionaly Muggle here and there, both used to have jobs at the Ministry of Magic.
His mother, who used to be an Auror, quit before the birth of Eric's eldest brother Jonathan. The thought of staying home with her children appealed to her more than working with employee's she couldn't stand.
Eric's father is still employed at the Ministry in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, Beast Division. Since his father is so employed, the entire household enjoys the company of animals, often taking in strays and raising many magical creatures.
Jonathan knew he was going to be accepted to Hogwarts. He always had a feeling of 'magic' within him. His father encouraged him the most when it came to his 'magical skill'. This led to him being slightly conceited.

Personality traits= The rebel of the family. A loving and caring boy. He has a tendency to be conceited at times and it gets in the way of him making friends. Otherwise, he's a good friend.
