Subject: Looking for fun (continued...) Mon 18 Feb 2008, 8:59 pm

As Draco entered the Great Hall, he saw Zabini and went to go sit next to him. He put a few items of food onto his plate, but he really didn't feel all that hungry. 'Oh no...' he thought. 'Here comes Pansy.' Sighing, Draco tried to talk about quidditch, but to no avail. Pansy sat right across from him and immediately interrupted the conversations he was having. He sighed and put his chin on his hand. Suddenly, he noticed Milosh and Magdalene enter, hand in hand. 'crap!' he thought. He perked up (not to willingly) and started to intently listen to Pansy, who swooned when he looked. 'Girls...' he thought but he continued to listen and nod and comment... and sigh...

Magdalene and Milosh followed Draco all the way to the Great Hall. They waited outside of the doorway just long enough for Draco to get a fewconversations started and to get a few bites to eat. When they thought it was long enough, they continued their walk as if they never stopped and sat only a few chairs away from Draco. Milosh wasn't pleased that they had stopped so close to Pansy, but he wanted to get back a Draco.

Milosh looked down toward Pansy. "Ugh," he moaned. "Did we have to sit so close to that girl? She's so annoying! Just being around her makes me lose a few IQ points. And she's always flirting with me.." Milosh finished, looking down at his and Magdalene's locked hands.

Magdalene laughed. "She honestly isn't that bad. And besides, who wouldn't want to flirt with you?" Magdalene smiled. She could see Milosh's face turning red.

"Zabini! Help!" he whispered in the most non-obvious way he could. Blaise just smiled at him and shook his head. This was frustrating. He looked over in Magdalene's direction. Just then, the owls came, swooping down, dropping off packages and letters, newspapers and much more. His owl landed next to his plate and nipped at his fingers. Untying the letter from her leg, he fed her a bite to eat and sent her off the the Owlery tower. He opened the letter quickly, it being, no doubt, from his father. Reading, rather scanning, he felt his eyes start to sting. He suddenly stood and grabbed his bag. Keeping his head low, balled up paper in one hand, he left the Great Hall.

Magdalene tore her eyes away from Milosh to watch Draco run by. Was he crying? 'Maybe,' Magdalene thought 'Maybe Milosh and I are taking this way too far.' Magdalene ripped her hand out of Milosh's and put her head on the table. She felt beyond horrible.

Draco sat on the step up the the second floor hallway. Clutching the letter, he started to cry. He didn't try to stop it, but just sat there, tears rolling down his cheeks and splashing into a small puddle at his feet. 'Just great! I'm heart broken, they rub it in my face, and now, I have literally been disowned by my own father!' He sobbed and threw the paper against the far side of the wall. He leaned back over the stairs and put his hands over his face.

Magdalene stood and ran before Milosh could stop her. She had to find Draco and apologize. She searched everywhere until she found him sitting on a stair. She walked up to him slowly. "Hello," She whispered.

Draco sat up and took his hands away from his face. "Oh..." he said. "What do you want? I thought that you and boyfriend would be ignoring me for forever." he said bitterly.

Milosh was hurt when Magdalene removed her hand from his. His heart sank when he watched her run out of the Great Hall after Draco. He really did like her, even though they had only been going out for a few hours. he looked out over the rest of the students and his eyes fell on Pansy, who was sitting right in front of him now. He groaned and put his head down on the table as she began talking. "Go away!" He yelled. But her chatter never stopped.

"You're the one that overreacted, Draco." She spat the name with as much acid as possible. "The way we're treating is nothing compaired to what it could be. You forget who you are messing with."

He stood up. "No! I have not forgotten! How could I ever forget someone that I lo.." he gulped. "lo...ve... It is nearly impossible to forget something like that! And you know what is worse? I have be disowned! Yes! Disowned by my own father and mother. For not becoming a F**king bloody death eater for you! You have absolutely no I idea what I go through and I can assure you that it is far worse than anything you can ever do to me!" He was breathing heavy, but he had got it out. He locked eyes with her and didn't hold back the tears that fell.

Magdalene glared. "Don't yell at me. It's your own bloody fault. I didn't ask you to do anything for me. You made that decision yourself. Calm down and let me talk to you before he finds me." She pleaded.

Draco let the sobs come and fell to a heap on the floor. "Well, you better tell me soon then. No telling when we could be interrupted." He looked up at her. He felt like a child. Lonely, sad, alone, and so vulnerable.

Magdalene stared at the crying boy. She knew he was hurting, but did he have to show his feelings in front of her like this? She sighed and shook her head. "Draco, what I wanted to say is that I'm sorry for whatever Milosh may or has done to you. he's very protective and everything. And I'm also sorry for ever hurting you. I do like you, but only in the 'that awesome younger friend' way. Do you get what I mean? I like Milosh in the way you like me. I'm terribly sorry if I ever gave you wrong ideas."

He looked at the floor. He couldn't stand to look at her anymore. It hurt to much. "Well, what am I supposed to do now?" he asked, just as Milosh came out of the Great Hall. He still looked like a child, but he didn't care anymore.

Milosh was beginning to worry, and tired of looking at the digusting face of Pansy. He had to go look for her. "Shut your mouth." Milosh muttered before he stood and walked out of the Great Hall. He walked slow, knowing she wanted to talk to him. And he didn't want to pry into their conversation. Milosh decided that it best if Magdalene got her way.

"We're supposed to stay friends, not get jealous over something as ridicuolous as this. You and I are going to be friends. You just need to bear with Milosh." Magdalene said as she noticed Milosh. She smiled and waved him over.

He glared at Milosh. He glanced at Magdalene, but seeing her getting tired and angry, he softened his expression and stood up. He then held out his hand to Milosh, but didn't bother to say anything.

Milosh was confused. Was Draco actually trying to be nice? What had Magdalene done to him? Milosh stuck his hand out slowly and took Malfoy's. He felt stupid for doing something like this.

Draco shook his hand reluctantly. He nodded at Milosh and picked up his forgotten book bag. By now he had forgotten he letter from his father that he had thrown. He slowly made his way up the many stairs and hallways to the seventh hall, to the room of requirements, looking over his should a couple of times.

Magdalene was surprised, but completely relieved that Draco shook Milosh's hand and didn't threaten him or point his wand at him. She laughed and looked at Milosh.

"Well... I guess I better get going. I have class in a few minutes and professor doesn't like it when im late." He let go on Milosh's hand and walked up the stairs. He glanced back and stopped when he saw the letter at the far end of the wall. He starred at it for a minute, but then kept going, thinking, 'I have to get that later. I just hope that he doesn't notice it. That would be a disaster. Just keep walking like you didn't see anything.'

Milosh watched Draco walk away. He couldn't believe that he had made peace with him. He smiled when he heard Magdalene laugh and looked over at her. "I'm glad that went well!" He said. He laughed.

Magdalene jumped into Milosh's arms. She hated seeing the two of them fight. She kissed him softly before pushing herself away from him. "I've got a class soon, but I will see you soon!" She said before she hurried off after Draco. She stopped when she saw the crumpled up piece of paper. "Do people have no respect for this school?" She whispered before picking up to paper. She began to uncrumble it, but people were beginning to exit the Great Hall. She'd read it, whatever it was, when she got to her class. She turned around and waved at Milosh before running up the stairs.
