Draco sat against one of the stone walls and sighed. 'There are plenty of other girls, right?' he though to himself. He kicked his book bag out into the middle of the hall and watched as students stepped over it. It was if it were a habit, to randomly step over discarded book bags in the halls. Then he noticed a certain person, following trend also step over his bag. Magdalene. His breath hitched. He looked at her, but she seemingly didn't notice him. There was a sheet of crumpled paper in her hand. Draco, realizing what it was, pushed his head into his hands and audibly moaned. This was bad. Maybe. Maybe some good could come from it. But most likely, she would show it to Milosh, and then all hell would break loose on him. If only the ground would swallow him now. And it didn't help matters that Potter and Co. just happened to be walking by at that very moment too. 'Dang!' he though.

Magdalene followed a few students in her year to her next class. She almost didn't see the bookbag on the floor, and stepped over it just in time. Whos ever it was, they were going to be needing it soon. Magdalene rushed into her class just as the bell rang. Uncrumpling it under the desk, Magdalene read the note addressed to Draco. Her heart began to race as her eyes went over it. What a cruel man this Mr. Draco is! She angrily balled the letter up again and stuffed into her bag, waiting as class started and hoping it would be a quick one.

Draco sighed and pulled himself off of the dirty stone floor. He picked up his bag, ignoring the curious stares from the other students. He then begrudgingly followed the "Golden Trio" to his next class. Sitting in his usual seat next to Zabini, the bombardment of questions he knew was coming started to rain on him.
"What happened?" he said, intruding into my business like usual.
"I tell you later."
"Aw, don't be like that Malfoy. You know you want to tell me." he said, a hint of amusement in his voice.
Draco growled at him. The lesson droned on, but he couldn't help but to continuously think about the letter. It was aggravating at times to have to constantly worry about it. He simply hoped that Magdalene would just throw it away and not bother to read it. Maybe she would think it was nothing but thrash. Yeah, like that would happen.
"Draco!"
He was suddenly snapped out of his thoughts only to realized that he was being asked a question. Every one was staring at him. The teacher sighed and asked another student. 'This is going to be a long day...' he thought to himself.

When the bell finally rang, Magdalene jumped up and ran as fast as she could to Draco's class. She ignored the stares and angry yells from the students she ran by. She arrived out of breath just as Draco exited his class. She held up the crumbled ball and tried to catch her breath. Before draco could do anything though, Magdalene pulled him into a hug. "I'm sorry." She whispered.

Draco was completely caught off guard. Stunned, he simply stood there. When his thoughts came back down to earth, he pulled her off of him and looked at her face. She had read it. He put his emotionless mask back on and bent his head.
"There is absolutely nothing to be sorry about. It was my decision anyways. You have nothing to be sorry about and if you do, then your absurd." Pulling fully out of her grasp, he started to push his way through the crowd of students, making his way to the common room. He could feel her behind him, and knew that she wouldn't give up that easily. Sighing in defeat, he turned around again to face her.
"Is there anything else you wanted?" his face becoming softer. He couldn't stand to be mad at her for anything.

'That was a stupid question.' He sighed. "Look, there is nothing you can do. I sorry that you had to read that, I should have never thrown it. Just don't let ANYONE else read it, ok?" He looked at her. He knew that she would keep it private, but he just wanted to be sure. Turning around again, he started his slow walk to his next class. Herbology.

"Are you not capable of staying still for just a few minutes? I'll keep it a secret. I promise. No one will ever see it. Ever." Magdalene said as she walked in step with Draco.

"I don't know." he said starting to feel a little playful. "I have always had a urge to keep moving. It's weird. My legs, they seem to have a mind all of their own!" he said. "Oh, and thanks..."

Magdalene smiled. "Well fine. Since you won't stop walking. I'll just do it myself." She searched in her pockets for her wand. Pulling it out, she pointed it at Draco and spoke clearly. "Locomotor Mortis!" She said. Draco's legs suddenly locked together and he was still. She walked around to face him and smiled. "Now, since I have you attention... no problem!"

Draco almost fell as his legs bound together. He looked, rather glared, at her through his eye lashes. "And what must you have my attention for, miss Magdalene?" he said in mock bow. He almost fell again , but his legs stayed glued to the floor. Standing back up and balancing himself, he looked at her again. "You know that you always have my attention..."

Magdalene looked at him. 'I always have his attention, eh? I'll store that away for later use.' She thought to herself. "Come on," Magdalene said to Draco. "Let's get to class. We'll talk later." Magdalene began walking, but turned quickly around. "Hah! I almost forgot. Finite Incantatem!"

His legs felt all tingly. Shaking them out a little, he stepped lightly up next to her and said, "I didn't know we had a class together..." 'Duh, we don't have a class together!'
"Well, I actually have an hour to do whatever, so I think I will head down to the common room instead. Want to join?" He offered his hand as a gesture to go ahead of him. He looked at her, then lowered his hand, remembering Milosh. "Well, actually, I don't think Milosh would like that, would he?" 'Speak of the devil...' he though as Milosh seemed to be coming down the corridor.

Milosh looked up and saw Magdalene...with Draco. He gave a warm smile and a quick kiss on the cheek to Magdalene before looking at Draco. "Draco..." Milosh said polietly. "How nice to see you. I didn't know third years had a break right now too."

Draco was slightly surprised by the calm voice that greeted them. He looked away when Milosh kissed Magdalene. "Well, our Herbology class is taking a trip into the Forbidden Forrest to look for plants, and I was aloud to stay here. Not everyone had to go." He moved his bag to his other shoulder, rubbing the sore spot from the heavy item.

"Oh," Milosh said, looking out of the window behind Draco. "I don't really blame you. Professor Hagrid seems like a joke to me. Besides, any teacher that favours the Gryffindors is no favourite of mine."

Draco laughed bitterly. "Well..." he said, "that's at least two things we agree on." He stuffed his hands into his pockets and looked up the two. "So to the common room then?" He turned and started to walk off, expecting Magdalene and Milsh to follow him. When he didn't hear any foot falls behind him, he turned back around and looked curiously at the two. He didn't like to wait.

"Yeah, we're coming." Magdalene said as Draco turned around to look at them. Hopefully this niceness between Milosh and Draco would continue.

He waited till they caught up before picking up his walking again. He would try to let go of the fact that Milosh had "won". This wasn't supposed to be a competition. He just didn't like losing, and that wasn't so bad was it? Keeping his emotionless mask on, he continued to dream and let his mind wonder, not noticing the many things going on around him.
